FERYO Privacy Notice
- Data Regulations

In compliance with the new obligations and in accordance with our charitable status, we have formulated this privacy notice to detail what happens to the personal data which we hold.
- The purpose of keeping personal data
Personal information that has been provided on a subscription form, or other fundraising event sign-up form, will be saved securely as hard copy and on a protected database by the Subscriptions Secretary and may be accessed by officers of the Friends (Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary). It will only be used to administer membership records, inform you about FERYO news, fundraising events and ensemble concerts, for requesting voluntary help, and for letting you know of the time for annual re-subscription. Some contact details may also be used in order to process Gift Aid claims with HMRC.
Your details may be shared with the East Riding Schools’ Music Service Partnership Liaison Officer, Fiona Latham, but we will never sell nor give your data to any other organisation.
- Data retention
We will keep your personal data for as long as you remain a subscriber or a sponsor. When you cease to be such a member, we will securely destroy your data no later than three months later.
Data provided by volunteers, including the Bakers’ Bank, will be renewed annually in September and deleted 3 months later if not renewed.
If you have given contact details for a particular event, these will be deleted by the end of the next calendar month after that event.
- Your rights and your personal data
You may opt out of any of this or request that your data is erased at any time by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org You have the right, at any time, to ask for us to share with you all of your data that we hold. We would respond to this request within one month as is required by law.
