On Sunday 17th November, the Senior Wind Band and Youth Jazz Orchestra travelled over to Oldham for this festival. No strangers to this event, but as always at this early stage of the year, both ensembles had to contend with a fair change of personnel having lost many Y13s from last year.
However the Senior Wind Band was awarded a GOLD award and the Jazz Orchestra was awarded SILVER. Impressive!
The Friends were delighted to make a large contribution towards transport costs for this event.
