ENSEMBLES CONCERT

Longcroft Upper School

This winter warmer at the end of January is a bright spot in the dark winter nights when the Intermediate Wind Band, the Jazz Orchestra and the Percussion Ensembles get the audience tapping along with rousing music. Definitely one to look forward to.

Bridlington Spa

The Youth Orchestra will be presented their Easter Extravaganza! This is an increasingly popular concert with a growing number of people looking forward to the YO “springing” into song.

Jazz and Quiz night

Cottingham Civic Hall 

The Friends of the East Riding Youth Orchestras Quiz night featuring the Youth Jazz Orchestra and all those special cakes and puddings made by our own Catherine (much beloved when she gets those lovely morsels out). It’s an entertaining and tasty treat - what out for tickets going on sale after Christmas!

MIDSUMMER FESTIVAL

All Ensembles

This bi-annual event is always an amazing, and latterly an interactive, event. It’s hard to know how the Music Director will match the last concert but it’s sure to be worth finding out what this year’s finale will include. Be warned, it’s bound to be a sell out so keep an eye out for the tickets going on sale!

SUMMER CONCERT

Wassand Hall, Hornsea

The Senior Wind Band, the Percussion Ensembles, the Intermediate Wind Band and the Jazz Orchestra will be entertaining everyone to their very own Proms in the Park. This annual outing has become a mainstay - and the weather has been very kind so bring a picnic!

City Hall, Hull

The Youth Orchestra will be doing the final concert of the year at Hull City Hall, rounding off the year with the culmination of pieces which show their ever improving standard
